DemoCamp Calgary #28 – Winter is coming #dcc28

We’re pleased to announced the next DemoCamp Calgary (#28), which will be held on October 22nd, 2014. We’re going back to our roots and will be hosting it at the Libertine Public House off Stephen Avenue. It should be a nice to mix things up again at a pub. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

As you know, DemoCamp Calgary is a free event, but ideally we’d like everyone to register.

What are the Rules?

There aren’t a lot of rules, but the rules we have are set in stone.
Rule #1: You must talk about DemoCamp. Tell your friends, and bring someone interesting to the next event.
Rule #2: No powerpoint or slideshow allowed. Why no .ppt? Well, do you have working software or don’t you?
Rule #3: Demos are not a second over 5 minutes each. Short and sweet! And follow with Q&A for about 3-4 minutes max.
Rule #4: There are no rules. We’ll continue to do what’s right for the community.

Logistics

We will be hosting DemoCamp Calgary #28 at The Libertine Public House at 223 8th Avenue SW. We have the upstairs area reserved where there is a full A/V and PA system built in and a great setup for presentations with 100+ attendees. Doors at 6pm, kick off at 6:30pm.

Side note: if you are hiring, or looking for a job, we normally give the opportunity to announce this between demos. So please don’t be shy when we shine the spot light on the crowd. :)

I Want to Demo!
